Canada in the Rough™ Welcomes QDMA!

Canada In The Rough host, Thomas Pigeon poses with QDMA's Kip Adams, as they hang a QDMA sign on Thomas' property to celebrate the agreement between their two organizations.
Thomas Pigeon, Executive Producer of Canada In The Rough™, Canada's most watched hunting documentary television series, today announced that the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) has joined their prestigious advertising and sponsorship roster.

Thomas noted, "White-tailed deer are the number one big game species in North America, due in large part to their widespread distribution and rapid population growth in recent years. The QDMA, a 50,000-member nonprofit wildlife conservation organization, is dedicated to educating landowners, hunters and wildlife managers on deer biology, herd management, harvest practices, food plot management, and more. They also produce one of the highest quality and most informative magazines I've ever read. The QDMA is a dynamic organization and it will be contributing valuable content and insight to our whitetail episodes that will enrich our show. We are delighted they have decided to partner with us and we are committed to helping them increase awareness and membership in Canada."

QDMA's Executive Director, Brian Murphy, stated, "We've built a great presence in the United States over the past 20 years by delivering factual and reliable information that makes deer hunters and managers more effective. We launched the QDMA in Canada just last year and the initial response has been overwhelmingly positive. Through our partnership with Canada In The Rough, Canada's number one hunting adventure television show, we are even better placed to establish our association as the number one resource on white-tailed deer hunting and management in North America. For the Canadian hunter looking for information on how to improve the quality of their deer herd or hunting opportunities, our association is well equipped to get them their faster with the most up to date information available anywhere. The partnership between the top Canadian hunting television and North America's most respected whitetail organization is a natural fit. Together we will be able to do great things for the whitetail herds and whitetail hunters in Canada."

Pigeon concluded, "QDMA" joins our list of wonderful brand supporters including Dodge, Rocky Brands, Excalibur Crossbow, Stoeger Canada, Federal Premium Ammunition, Yamaha Canada, Bass Pro Shops, Bushnell Optics, and a host of others. It's been just two short years since the launch of Canada In The Rough. Season #4 is currently airing and the production crew are already filming for season #5 which will go to air January 1, 2009. We continue to hold our own thanks to the tremendous support of the viewing public and the support of sponsors and advertising partners like the QDMA".

Canada In The Rough is Canada's only hunting television show to air on a tier one measured broadcaster airing nationally (Global TV). The show airs every Sunday morning on Global and the Men's Channel. Canada In The Rough also airs every Friday evening at 9:00 PM EST. on Wild TV. For complete air times go to our Broadcast Schedules.
