TV Show Wins Big at Awards Show
in Vegas
Las Vegas, NV - Feb. 10th, 2006 - Anticipation was
high amongst some of the best producers in the hunting and fishing
industry at the Sportsman Channel's 3rd Annual Producer Appreciation
Awards Supper. Held at the Palms Casino and Resort in conjunction
with the World's largest showcase of firearms, hunting and outdoor
products - the Shot Show - these awards offer unique bragging
rights amidst the best on the network.

Finalists are selected by The Sportsman Channel staff from a bounty of nominees in each category. A panel of qualified reviewers views each submission and votes.
Canada In The Rough™ was delighted to be nominated
in 7 of the possible 14 hunting categories. Nominations for Canada
In The Rough included:
• Best Writing
• Best Audio Recording/Mixing
• Best Videography
• Best Editing ...WINNER!
• Best Upland Bird or Waterfowl Episode
• Best Big Game Episode ....WINNER!
• Most Informative/Educational Episode
Captured this evening were two of these celebrated
awards. "Best Editing" and "Best Big Game Episode"
honours went to Canada In The Rough™ , the only Canadian
production to win on this US network.
"Canada In The Rough™ should feel very
proud winning two awards - especially in a tough category like
Best Big Game Episode," stated President/CEO of TSC, C. Michael
Cooley. "They produce some outstanding hunts with their travels
and have a top-notch film and editing crew to weave it all together."
Thomas Pigeon, the show's host and executive producer,
stated, "We are delighted and naturally honoured to have
won these prestigious awards. Thanks to our incredible crew and
production team, a US network has identified Canada In The Rough™
as a best in-class show. We traveled this road with our title
