
Canada In The Rough™, The First Ever Coast-to-Coast-to-Coast Canadian Hunting Adventure Show Being Launched on a National Canadian Broadcast Network. Oakville, Ontario, May 16, 2005 - Dancing Buffalo Productions Inc. has created a unique hunting adventure television show set to hit the airwaves this July in cooperation with some of Canada 's most progressive broadcasters, Global TV as well as Men TV, Wild TV and The Sportsman Channel in the United States.
Canada In The Rough™ is the first ever coast-to-coast-to coast Canadian Hunting Adventure Show - focusing on the journey of the hunt. The program is one part travel documentary, one part wildlife insight, one part extreme adventure show and one part hunting odyssey. "Hunting, as I do it, and as the show captures it, is an extreme activity," says Thomas Pigeon, host and executive producer of Canada In The Rough™. "This show documents real hunting as it is meant to be - man against, and in concert with, nature. Canada is the last hunting frontier with three and a half million square miles of unspoiled wilderness, and some of the best hunting on the planet."

Join Thomas and his crew on an archery hunt for muskox with the Inuit in the remote Victoria Island of Nunavut in -50ºC temperature, travel by snow machine with the Slavey Indians on a management hunt for wood bison in the Northwest Territories, slog through the bogs of Newfoundland to hunt moose with some of Canada's earliest settlers, and feel the adrenaline at 10,000 vertical feet as Thomas is challenged by mother nature on a shale mountain ledge in pursuit of the elusive Dall sheep. Each episode is packed not only with exciting adventure, but also with informative tips about wildlife, geography, hunting and survival techniques, regulations, conservation practices and a variety of wild game preparation techniques, courtesy of the Canada In The Rough™ kitchens.
