In Love with Saskatchewan

Rough Gear > GPS Navigation
Rough Cooking > Venison Ribs

Today Thomas and the crew stalk late season whitetails in Central Saskatchewan near the town of Love. Love is about half way between Saskatoon and Flin Flon in a region of the province that is not heavily hunted.

White-tails grow big in Saskatchewan; in fact Saskatchewan ranks highest of any region in North America when it comes to Boone and Crocket entries. And is where the largest typical buck ever - the Hanson Buck - was taken in 1993. Are there bigger buck roaming the woodlands and prairies of Saskatchewan? Well sheds that have been found leave every indication that there just could be.

Chef Micheal Olson shows us how to serve up a delicious portion of Venison Ribs. Rough Gear takes a look at GPS systems.

Sit back and watch as Thomas sets his sights of some exciting white-tail action in the wilds of Saskatchewan.
