Mixed Grill with Whiskey Honey Glaze

A mixed grill is a great way to have a BBQ with variety. You can introduce family and friends to a selection of game delicacies in one meal. The finishing touch is very simple – a jacked-up version of honey with a tiny burn from the addition of good old rye whiskey. We shot this episode on the back of a pick-up truck with our friend Pearl Davies from Dodge Canada down near the shores of Lake Erie. It was a wonderful day full of good laughs and great tastes!
Serves 4
2 lbs 1 kg mixed game (cutlets, chops, sausage,etc)
1 Tbsp 15 mL vegetable oil
¼ cup 60 mL honey
2 Tbsp 30 mL Canadian whiskey
salt and pepper
